Cons: Color change requires colored flakes, not liquids. This isn't really a negative, but other buyers should know beforehand as I've never worked with soy wax. Positive: I was very satisfied with the simple filling process in the water bath. Ideal for low to medium heat. It tolerates perfumes and essential oils very well. Use more oils for more flavor. Easy to pour, easy to clean. Tip: Use heat-resistant glass or tin cans for this project. I didn't blow out any air, so there were a few bubbles - stir, stir, stir, or pour slowly. It only loses one star because I think the seller should include basic instructions, how to use color tips and maybe provide a pattern. Be sure to check the ingredients of the paint flakes to avoid separating paint and wax like oil and water. Definitely a kit for someone with more experience, but even for a soy wax beginner this was a fun project. I would definitely buy again.
