Description of πŸ•―οΈ Organix Natural Soy Wax Craft Kit - 10lb Bag with 150ct 6'' Pre-Waxed Candle Wicks for DIY Candle Making Supplies

ALL-NATURAL: Our candle wax that is 100% soy wax will burn clean and smooth – without any worry of the unhealthy chemicals found in traditional paraffin wax. Unlike other wax brands who add unhealthy minerals to their wax, we use only plant-based additives that are naturally found in the environment. PRE-WAXED WICKS: Our kit contains not just soy, but the wicks AND centering device needed to make sure your candle-making process is seamless. Each wick is cut to 6” and pre-waxed for an efficient set and burn. Use the centering device to position your wick as the wax is cooling. EASY TO PREP: Our candles simple, and easy to prepare. Simply melt them down and mix at 120 degrees to get started; if you want to add dyes or scents, raise the temperature to 180 degrees (or 185 degrees if the dyes do not fully melt). PERFECT FOR BEGINNERS: This set is an amazing first step into the DIY lifestyle for both adults and children. It is the perfect rainy-day activity that can be done indoors in a just a short amount of time. ECO FRIENDLY AND SUSTAINABLE: Our soy wax is sustainable and renewable. Oraganix goes the extra difference to ensure that our wax is not only high quality, but eco-friendly as well.

Great set to start with

Oooo! A friend and I made our first batch of candles and this set did not disappoint! We just messed it up. We got different cans from Dollar Tree and we didn't even measure the temperature of the wax like all the Pinterest tutorials state. I used a poor man's improvised two loop system and we just added wax! I thought I filled my candle with essential oils but to be honest I will add more next time. We put dried herbs on top and they smell really nice when they burn. I can't wait to do more!

About the update 😍

Well, I used this wax a few months ago when I made my very first set of crystal candles for my shop, Mama Junelle's (Hello again!), but I decided to taking it up a few notches - got more for what I needed - and once again this wax did NOT disappoint! Oh my God! It's so easy to work with him. The wick stays lit and burns clean. The wax melts slowly and evenly. But most importantly, my customers love my upgraded candles! 😍 I can't help but thank you guys for the inspirational creativity. My…

Great for first project fun!

Cons: Color change requires colored flakes, not liquids. This isn't really a negative, but other buyers should know beforehand as I've never worked with soy wax. Positive: I was very satisfied with the simple filling process in the water bath. Ideal for low to medium heat. It tolerates perfumes and essential oils very well. Use more oils for more flavor. Easy to pour, easy to clean. Tip: Use heat-resistant glass or tin cans for this project. I didn't blow out any air, so there were a few…
