Review on 🔧 Makita 01345 Impact XPS Boost Power Tool by Ben Diesel

Unlike their previous Mag Booster plastic which was fantastic this one is terrible. In fact, don't even bother. First, most bits don't even fit in. It doesn't have a standard hex shank hole but instead has 3 retainers in a fairly small hole. I'm struggling to find anything that even went through the retainers. Also, they don't hold long shots well. When they match, the center of gravity is shifted, and this causes terrible wobbling during movement. The detents only work on the shank, and long hammer drills tend to be thinner in the middle. As long as they're gripping short bits (the shank is in the right place) there won't be enough shank for the tool or tool. bit holder. See fig.
