Some reviews argue about how much power is drawn from the fan. After measuring myself, it briefly draws 90W when the fan kicks in, then drops to a fairly stable 65+-3W. Of course, this is all at 12 volts, so when using amps you get 90/12 = **7.5 amps** in peak mode and 65/12 = **5.42 amps** in steady state.
