Works great with my new Firestick 4k. I have a flash drive, keyboard and network cable. No setup required. The speed is faster than over Wi-Fi. 1Gbps is definitely possible. My flash drive turns off sometimes, but I think it's Firestick's fault. I also can't connect to other devices on my router. Again, I'm pretty sure this is Firestick's fault. still working on it I'll let you know if I find out anything else. My keyboard and mouse combo lags at times, but that's fine when near other radio signals. I just plugged the USB extender into the dongle and made sure it was hanging higher than the Firestick. Now it works great. Make sure you're using the correct power cord, and don't use an adapter or low-power cord with a device that requires internet (for example, use a fast-charger plugged into an extension cord). The firestick wouldn't even turn on if I used the wrong stick. People have complained that it gets too hot. This is to be expected from an aluminum device. This means heat escapes efficiently instead of staying inside. My adapter never gets too hot. This would indicate a problem.
