Review on KXZM USB Red LED Strip Light by John Espindola

The product arrived as advertised but the packaging, although very good, is not the same as in the box. No harm no foul I guess. See photos. There's no remote control or color change, it's just the advertised white light. The USB cable is also not 3 meters long. One of the strips has been incorrectly connected as shown in the picture. I can desolder for my own purposes, so it doesn't matter to me either. The wrongly connected part of the strip works when I check from the other end. The lowest voltage to turn on the dimmer was around 2.7v and they seem quite bright at 5v. When plugged into a USB port I noticed that the first 2 feet of the strip gets warm. Not hot, but noticeably warm in the hand. The length of the USB cable is about 20 inches. I will buy again if the ones I bought last a while and don't burn out. But bad wiring, I hope, is just an isolated incident if you don't plan to solder it yourself.
