Review on 🚲 Kuat Racks NV 2.0 Bike Rack - Top-Notch Stability and Versatility for Your Bikes by Robert Demissie

DO NOT install the luggage rack on the Tesla Y model (equipped with a drawbar) UNTIL you get the HL2105 (free from Kuat Service)! I made the mistake of attaching the brace to my car and THEN realized I could NOT remove it because the keyhole was blocked by the DC connector used to power the trailer's taillights. Somehow you can't turn the locking mechanism far enough to have enough room to insert the key! I contacted customer service and they suggested I cut the 1/4" thick bar, which wouldn't be possible since the Y model's hitch is recessed. That wasn't an option for me. With no further suggestions, they decided to send me a new one, a locking mechanism with the keyhole facing me instead of to the side!?!If you ask me they should supply that anyway assuming I could remove the rack at all.That was MY problem. I only had a gap of about a millimeter and had to use the needle nose pliers to feel for the keyhole with the tip of the key while holding the DC jack door open with the other hand (to gain access to the keyhole) I could in TWO Hours finally getting the keyhole out of my car!The rack itself is huge and heavy (50 pounds) and looks sturdy once installed on the car.
