I used my own tape. I didn’t feel the tape they supplied was heavy duty enough. But I love these treads. Will be buying more for our basement stairs. There was one odd one in there (it was a bit lopsided). I only needed 11 so I wasn’t that worried and honestly it would have been fine if I hid it on a stair in the middle anyway. These are solid quality for the price.
