Not made for easy installation on plexiglass tanks

No instructions for installation on various types of aquarium, leaving a lid or cap to prevent the fish from jumping out if one is missing. I have a small pond and a few tanks, but my main tank is a 50 gallon TruVue Plexiglas on a stand on the wall about 1.5 inches away. The plexiglass top is part of the tank and there is a narrow 2" wide slot in the back (for the filter) starting at about 3/4" plus cut outs under the cover for service. The other two feeders didn't fit because the clamp's set screw sticks out too far at the back (stupid design!) These feeders rotate 360Β° so I could put the clamp from the back to the front, then it somehow fits the L-shape Rear edge Perpendicular to the wall, the rotary feeder sticks out over the hood, which obviously doesn't work, so I turned it almost sideways so that it was over the slot. The swath width is "-3", so there is often a lot of forage at the top and not in the tank (see picture). Flake food tends to build up in the feeder, so sometimes the fish (or tip) gets a lot, sometimes almost nothing. Small pellets were no better. As long as it's at an average level I assume the fish are fine. It is possible to remove the mounting clamp plate and place the included circular double-sided adhesive pad directly on the bottom of the feeder and "glue" it to the aquarium, but then it is irremovable. The kit did not include simple sticky pads or a suction cup mount, so it could be mounted to another tank in a similar fashion. :-(It was easy to set it up to feed it up to 3 times a day as long as the instructions are handy; DON'T lose it! (Take a picture just in case.) A feeder is better than the fish to continue starving holidays, overfeeding fish or just one of those calcium holiday blocks alone that release god knows how much food and mess up the water chemistry It offers adjustable feeding times as fish are best fed gradually and fairly often I wish only, there would be more and better mounting options and a narrower/more targeted charging slot.
