This stool is a pain in the ass! For the price I wasn't expecting much and that's exactly what I got. a little. The seat padding is terrible and you won't be able to sit in it for long, let alone the hours needed for hobbies and such. It's not adjustable in any way that a sane person would find comfortable, it requires you to completely disassemble it to adjust the height. Seriously, save your money and buy something else. If you're not buying it as a gift for someone you don't like, then go ahead.
