Review on 🌞 Sun 28 Inch Classic Chrome/Black Unicycle: Sleek and Stylish for Advanced Unicycling by Cesar Rios

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I love this unicycle!

I bought a Sun Classic unicycle in August 2017. I've owned it for about 2 1/2 years and put over 5,000 miles on it. I mainly used it on roads and bike paths, but I also ran on dirt roads, meadows and sandy beaches. Strengths-1. Easy to use and versatile. This 28/29 inch wheel is considered the smallest of the street unicycles. The smaller wheel allows for an easier free-flowing installation compared to larger wheels. Ideal for many start and stop scenarios such as driving in or around town. It's easier to climb steep hills with this smaller wheel. In addition, it is very fast and maneuverable around obstacles.2. Lightweight single wall bezel. This unicycle is very light compared to the double wall rim. Less rotating weight provides quick response in stop-and-go situations.3. Easy to set up and upgrade - I added custom aero bars, touring saddle and shorter cranks to make the unicycle more comfortable and more like a road unicycle. The tire is very good - great for dirt or paved roads and very durable. Driven over 3,000 km before needing replacement. Weaknesses-1. The hub and bearings could have been better - after about 1000 miles my bearings seized. Since on modern unicycles it is easy to overtighten the main cover bearing housing mounting assembly; Maybe I overstretched mine. No unicycle manufacturer I know publishes torque specifications. Most unicyclists who service their unicycles recommend "tightening a little more tightly than by hand." I replaced mine with a $30 Unicycle.com 36H chromoly hub that comes with excellent bearings. The design is intended for use on the road. If you ride off-road, want to drop or jump over six inches, or if you're a heavy rider, you need a more durable unicycle. Personal experiences and impressions. This Sun unicycle was light. in service and lots of driving fun! The original frame, rim, spokes, seat post, pedals and quick releases are still in perfect condition. I have had four unicycles, this one is the easiest to ride, the most versatile and affordable. I really liked this unicycle. 65 miles in one day is currently my personal best. Get ready to draw a lot of attention while driving! People love to watch my master ride a beautiful unicycle.
