This is an excellent reliable weather radio. I would give 5 stars if I could only choose real tornado warnings. I don't want to be woken up by a tornado, but I do want to be woken up when there's a more serious warning that means take cover. For those not in the tornado area, sightings can be frequent (several times a day for several weeks) but do not typically develop into a tornado. The warning means that an actual rotation is occurring and a tornado is very likely or a real tornado has been detected in the area.
