Super sloppy OD fits my hitch. I have a newer hitch that hasn't worn at all - 1/8" to 3/16" clearance at the adapter OD. That means the little bike rack that goes there can swing a good 6 inches either way. Not very sure. I get a low OD for an easy install, but it's so bad it renders the adapter unusable. Drill a hole for the hitch pin to fit a standard 2 inch hitch pin. (I was lucky and had a 5/8" bit lying around in case you didn't know it's $20 at your local hardware store.) At least the soft aluminum was easy to drill into?
