Not recommended for chop saws

This stand has two main problems. The wheels are too close together and the stand doesn't stand upright when the legs are folded down. I have a DEWALT (DWS780) 12" double miter saw that is heavy and wide. Moving the saw on anything other than a hard, level surface is difficult and even dangerous. The small distance between the wheels allows the stand to rotate in your hand on any uneven surface. One day it fell out of my hand and landed on my ankle. Left a pretty good drink. Since the stand is not held vertically, it is very difficult to straighten the legs when folded. You have to keep one hand on the handle to hold it upright while leaning toward the floor to free your legs, which is ergonomically inconvenient. Everything is fine after installation and a stationary stand, but I bought a stand to move it. Overall, I would not recommend this stand to anyone who needs to be mobile with a saw.
