They are cute but a little heavy for my curtains. I tried tying them together, that caused the curtains to be bunched. I tried the just wrapping them around with the magnets connected. That was too heavy. Last I attached the magnets through the curtains, and that worked the best. They are versatile. I bought 4 sets thinking I needed 1 per curtain. I used one set per window. I used 2 sets in the dining/homework area. I used another set in the guest room with the navy, gray, and yellow curtains. They are a little thicker, because the navy and gray are velvet. I still had to use the magnet through the curtains. I put the extra pair in the drawer in the guest room. They come with a little plastic bag for storing. The price point was a value. No snagging or wires sticking out. I prefer the curtain hooks. Hooks would not work in this case. This was a good alternative. I would recommend for heavier curtains though. I'm making do.
