Review on πŸ’ͺ The Ultimate Powerhouse: Klein Tools 80020 Linemans Induction - Unleash Unmatched Performance! by Bob Fasho

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Six years of abuse and still pristine Lineman's

I have two pairs of these wire cutters, one is about six years old and is in my main toolbox while its identical twin which I just ordered from Revain is in my bike repair toolbox. The couple of six have numerous metal threads cut plastic ties and he's just as good today as he was six years ago. Since children's toys are often tied to ziplock packages, I always get my trusty pair out when Christmas morning gets to my son. I've also used these pliers for everything from telescope repairs to engine rebuilds, with no hassle, slip or de formed cuts. All I can say is that this model is built to last. I'm not sure what type of steel they used in it, but it's extremely hard (I assume it's one of the hardest vanadium steels out there). The cutting edges of my six year old model are still very sharp. And that's where I get my money's worth. Five stars and a simple recommendation for anyone who needs a decent side cutter.

Pros
  • New England 9" Needle Nose Pliers (Item # D213-9NE) with high leverage brings the rivet closer to the cutting edge and provides 46 percent better cutting and gripping power than pliers of other designs
Cons
  • Doubtful purchase for seniors
