Good air circulation and visibility; a little weak

Interesting drawer. I like that it is mainly made in Italy and not in China. It's easy to assemble - it took my husband about 15 minutes to put it together following the clear instructions (we also watched the video before assembling which only took a few minutes but was very helpful. The page is included in the docs ). It snaps into place without tools, which is great for quick assembly, but hardware is included if you want to add screws/bolts to strengthen it. My 45 lb English Bull Terrier loves his crates (she is a decoy rescue dog and I think this may have been her only safe place in her previous situation). She jumped right in and seemed happy in it. She was able to turn around so there is enough room for her, but if your dog is large this may not work because she is already on top. It fits snugly in the back of my Ford Explorer and gives her plenty of room to watch things go by (I think it's useful in stop and go traffic because if she can't see, then that particular traffic will stop her bad). ). However, as she hides in her cage for security reasons, she tends not to walk around in it at home - she prefers the needle we have for her, which has only one hole, as opposed to their wide-open side box. one. It can't replace your other drawer, but it's nice to leave in the car when traveling (it's lightweight and has handles built into the top for easy portability). It's a good box, but it's definitely not heavy. It's quite flexible and can easily be ripped out if you have an escape master or are trying to keep a naughty pup in it. My dog loves his cage so he's never tried to break out, but I wouldn't trust him with my mini bull terrier because he'd probably try (and manage) to pry it apart without screws (and he's a small, big dog ). , it could probably break easily). If your dog is crate trained I don't expect any problems (my dog certainly hasn't hurt her and she has been in the car together for about 3 hours since we had her). There was a problem finding a suitable pillow as there were no accessories in the kit and its shape was odd. I ended up cutting a piece of an old thick yoga mat and it's fine, but the standard rectangular drawer mats don't fit very well. Your round bagel bed fits in there. TL,DR: It's a good idea and fits the car well (it doesn't obstruct the rear view and can be installed right next to the tailgate of my SUV). , with minimum area). However, it may be made of a more durable material and the narrow top may be too tight for larger dogs. Also, all the cool accessories shown in the photo (like the divider, great idea) are optional.

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Functionality
