I look a lot before making a decision. My SO is freaking out because it takes me three months to choose a kitchen knife. That being said I did the usual amount of research before purchasing this item and once again my due diligence did not let me down. The scraper really is that useful. As a Korean, I make kimchi about every few months, which means I use a heck of a lot of garlic. This thing is great for chopping large batches of garlic, as the larger pieces tend to get stuck on top and not chop evenly. The scraper solves this problem. I've also tried using it to process crab meat to make it flaky to make California Rolls and the motor can handle dry and dense foods like crab meat. I've also tried using it to process chicken breasts for chicken salad and had no problems there either. Control options are pretty basic, but if you can manage yours in the kitchen, gadgets with crazy settings just get in the way. There is absolutely no doubt about this product. Amazing price is just a great deal.
