Review on WEN CC3016 Hydraulic Cylinder 16 Inch by Michael Thaxton

Both of my cylinders on my 14,000 lb PJ flatbed trailer were leaking through the front seal which was annoying. I contacted the trailer manufacturer and they said the re-compact kit is out of stock but I can buy new ones for $350 each. Oh! Since the cylinders didn't have part numbers or manufacturers, I tried getting them repaired locally for over $200 each, but didn't get a good impression of these shops. Then when I contacted PJ to order them, they were out of stock. I found them and they all seemed almost the same size except the hydraulic connectors were offset 90 degrees to the mounting pins. I checked my usage and decided I could use the adapter fittings and connect the original lines. After completion, I securely wired all the lines and everything works great! Cons: Identifying the correct adapters and hydraulic hoses is now roadside due to the 90 degree timing. Pros: The price was less than half as WEN is a well known brand and resealing kits are readily available should they ever be needed!
