I have an ASUS laptop on Windows 8, which constantly "falls off" the Wi-Fi receiver at the software level and disappears even in the settings, so restoring, reinstalling drivers, etc. each time required a lot of effort, but not for long. I decided to hang this adapter on the laptop - it worked immediately after installing the driver. But what is most interesting - after that, the "built-in" Wi-Fi was restored and connected in the laptop and no longer disappears !
- The long USB cable included in the kit allows you to move only the adapter in space to find the best reception if the router is far away or behind thick walls. Good sensitivity. After installing the native driver on W8, it does not require any settings, it works immediately upon connection.
- It was installed on Windows 7 with a small tambourine, I had to look for advice on the net.
