Bigger but soft good for me

I got a 4 ft round and 2 by 7 ft pad ⅜ inches thick. Provides a nice cushier feel. They are bigger so I had to cut them. Kind of a pain. I used a rolling cutter and then scissors. Made it a lot easier. On the tile floor, I faced the rubber up and the other side sticks to the tile fine. Same pad on the wood floor, I put the rubber down against the hardwood floor and everything stayed in place fine. I was ready to send them back but switch things up and tested them out. Hope this helps.

I want to protect the hardwood flooring. I think this may work.

Cons

May not provide enough support for heavy furniture on top of the rug
