I've had a Dell Optiplex 5060 Micro connected to a Vizio P55-F1 TV for about a month and this adapter allows me to install Windows up to to 4096 x 2160 at 60 Hz. That's great. I don't use HDR in this setup so I have nothing to do with it. The only problem I had, and I believe it's a Windows problem, is that on the TV, Windows sees this dp2hdmi adapter and not the TV itself, and I have no sound. I have to unplug the HDMI cable from the adapter and plug it back in to initialize the new HDMI handshake and the issue is resolved. Windows recognizes the TV and everything is fine. The simple fix was to just make sure the TV was on before waking up the computer. The adapter itself feels slightly warmer than room temperature, which is probably to be expected given it's an active device. But there is no flickering or any problems with the picture.
