I bought these to adapt some banana plugs to power supplies with non-standard plug spacing. They are excellent for this purpose and have more than enough power to handle the full power of the supply when needed. The wire is very flexible with silicone insulation, similar to a high quality test lead, and I don't expect it to get stiff over time. The connectors are also well finished with a nice fit and gold plating. I don't use them for speakers, but there's no reason they shouldn't work well for that purpose.
