Review on 🌸 Perforated Floral Cowhide Leather Vintage Men's Accessories by Mark Jefferson

I bought this belt for my daughter, it looks great and she loves it! She is allergic to nickel so she needed a belt with an interchangeable buckle to replace it with a nickel free buckle. In that regard, this belt is perfect. It is very easy to remove the buckle and install a new one. The only complaint I have is that this is NOT real leather! The description on Amazon at the time of purchase read 'Cowhide Leather' and 'Full Grain Leather'. The belt says "genuine leather" but is actually woven leather (see below for a description of the differences between the two). This may not be for everyone, but for true leather lovers like me, it's frustrating to order a "real leather" belt and get a cheap leather belt instead. Full Grain Leather: The highest quality leather. Full grain leather belts are cut from a single piece of cowhide that is naturally wide and thick enough to be made into a belt. Leather grain is visible on the top and suede on the bottom. Full grain leather belts are extremely strong and durable and will last for many years with proper care. Genuine Leather: This only refers to the fact that the belt is made of genuine leather. "Real leather" sounds good, but it's just a marketing gimmick. Essentially, this means it's not plastic, fabric, or anything else that looks like leather. but it is not real leather. Real leather is either very poor quality leather that doesn't deserve to be called full grain leather, or it's bonded leather, but the term doesn't really mean much. Bound Leather: The lowest "Leather” available. Although it's technically "real leather" because it's made of real leather, it's more or less leatherboard. Leather scraps are ground into leather powder and then glued together to form a belt. Bonded leather products usually have a faux leather finish on the top, but the bottom looks like cardboard. Bonded leather belts can last a few years with good care (and with a bit of luck), but are the absolute last when it comes to leather goods.
