Review on K2725 Evolution Drilled Slotted Ceramic by Doug Mancilla

***WARNING TO MANUAL TRANSMISSION RX-8 OWNERS***The front rotors in this kit WILL NOT WORK on a manual transmission RX-8. While Revain says it will fit your vehicle, please note that this kit is NOT designed for a manual transmission. This kit comes with four 11.9" (303mm) rotors and the front rotors should be 12.7" (323mm). I've looked up and down this page and there is no indication that the kit is not compatible with automatic and manual transmissions. Revain should have two versions of this kit because if you don't know the size then this kit won't fit you. Aside from the size difference, what I've noticed is that when paired with braided brake lines, these brakes stop much better than the stock brakes. I still have to do some autocross to really get a feel for the new brakes but I can say that so far they are working really well. The attached picture shows the difference in rotor size. The brake pad hangs a little, which can cause problems on the road.
