Review on Canon EF-S 55-250mm F4-5.6 IS STM Lens Review & Best Deals for Canon SLR Cameras by Jongil Baek ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Not a bad product, quite normal quality.

I bought it as a second lens for cases when the 24mm fix does not work: where it is impossible to get close to the subject. So far I can’t really work with manual focus at long distances. Focuses well on auto. No manual setting. It is only possible to focus normally at a small focal length. Well, in principle, I was warned not to buy a zoom lens, but still, sometimes a zoom is objectively necessary. In general, this is not a problem. It works on automatic. At night, by the way, it's hard to work with him. I adjust from a tripod in video mode, then switch to the manual (even on a 24mm fix in the dark it is easier to determine the direction of the lens). But I'm satisfied. I bought it used for 5500. If I had bought it for the full price, I would have been disappointed. However, the ideal lens probably does not exist.
