Didn't even need the driver CD that came with it. No problems with the network card port. The USB ports worked. I like this card because the USB ports are horizontal. I tried on two cases, there is no blocking! I tried another brand of NIC + USB card. This one had the USB ports mounted vertically, which blocked some of the ports - on both my Lain Li and the Factual design. Now my motherboards can last another year or two because I need to get the latest and greatest. My wife would be happy Update: I've been using this card for a week now. Now I noticed the problem that I had no internet once a day, sometimes two or three times. Each time I have to disable and then re-enable the driver for it to work. Tried to change USB, power supply. etc. in BIOS or check for conflicts and also update latest known driver from Taiwanese manufacturer's website, even enable/disable other NIC drivers. More updates - so after spending a day troubleshooting, checking if it was an IRQ conflict, working on driver compatibility with Windows 10, etc. I even installed it on my newly installed replacement Windows 10. Same thing . The next day I tried my son's Windows 7, it immediately gave us the "no internet" error for an hour. Again I tried the standard procedures on my box, after almost a day we gave up. I wanted to have additional USB 3 ports, but I need a stable connection for work. It's time to change it.
