I feel like I've tried it all to get the best quality cheese when I cook in the kitchen. Flat grater, box grater, mandoline. it wasn't until I remembered the handheld graters at Olive Garden that I began my hunt for something that could grate and create chips of cheese for my cooking needs in a similar fashion, and I stumbled upon this product.Boy, oh boy, was it the best decision ever. As I've told my friends: it's so nice and smooth you FORGET you're grating cheese! You just insert a blocky chunk of cheese and turn the handle and before you know it, you can have a whole bowl of cheese. And clean up is an absolute breeze afterward too! I simply take a wet paper towel with some soap to the inside of the main plastic piece (but it is dishwasher safe) and then I rinse and put the grating insert into the dishwasher (though I've washed it by hand also without issue). Absolutely recommend!
