#9 Screws, 3" long. 8mm diameter head. Bought these to replace the "stock" 1" bolts that came with my rental home as part of a major security update. I believe the screws I replaced were #7 screws. These #9 screws fit the holes nicely. Most of them went in with no problem, but drill a long enough pilot hole first or you'll have problems. I used about 20: none of them broke during installation, 1 of them I ended up taking my head off and throwing away (mostly my fault). They go well with the bronze door hardware I have at home. The heads are a little oversized for standard hardware (remember these are #9 screws that come with hardware designed for #7 screws), but if you align them properly, they fit snugly that nobody will ever really notice a small difference in size. These screws are a perfect match for Home Depot's "Door Reinforcement Door Lock, 3" Stopper, Aluminum Construction, Anodized Bronze" (Internet #205622339, Model #U 11126) (see image), but please note that this door lock also accepts smaller screws , so make sure the screws fit snugly in the holes.
