Excellent screen. Just plug it into your Pi with the latest kernel and run the scripts from the github repo "LCD-Show" and it will work without a custom image or major configuration changes. I really like it, it's not Adafruit but it's the next best thing. However, be aware that some programs run slowly when using the TFT screen. Because it's controlled via GPIO, the display completely bypasses hardware designed specifically to handle video output and requires more CPU time to drive than an HDMI display. It works great for almost anything that doesn't render 3D stuff (command line I/O, X desktop, etc.), but isn't a good choice for watching videos, rendering 3D graphics, or emulating 3D games.
