Review on 🚪 Milgard Sliding Patio Door Handle Set - White by Chris Crisler

I bought the same part 5 years ago and the handle that came with it was an exact replacement for a 2005 Milgard sliding door. This time (2021 ) NO pen arrived. Doesn't fit - round not square, much lighter/thinner material, much narrower attachment to the door - it means it doesn't flex well. Also, this is not a CR LAURENCE branded product as stated in the description - this product is an Interlock branded product by Assa Abloy. metal) for about half the price. Note, however, that both door brackets are much narrower, meaning they don't hide traces of the old handle and bend the frame even more than the original handle. I ended up using the Prime Line pen. FYI both grips share the same internal design (fault) as the original where the screw protrusions are very thin and will end up breaking either the inner plate or the outer grip. With the added flex due to the narrower design, I'm guessing another grip replacement is just around the corner.
