I was impressed when I opened it. The rubber pad is very high quality and thick. The glue could be made a little easier to peel and stick, but once applied the glue is of good quality. Take your time peeling, it's a bit finicky. But it's worth it. I love that I can press down on the rubber with my hand and not feel the brick fireplace underneath. He's fat! :D 👍🏻 My child's safety is everything to me. My baby is my world and this rubber guard was perfect for protecting her head from hitting the brick chimney if she fell. She's just starting to crawl and will be walking soon, so she spoils herself sometimes. This rubber bumper was just what I needed for her safety and I wanted to protect her from injuring herself on hard objects like a brick fireplace. I am very happy with this rubber bumper and find it to be of a much higher quality than most. I'd also like to add that it doesn't look bad either. Once applied, it blends in well with the room. It's not ugly and doesn't look weird at all. I'm glad it somehow blends in and it's not a bold hue or color so it doesn't catch the eye. You only really notice that when you look for it.
