Review on Nokian Tires Hakkapeliitta R3 175/65 R14 82R winter by Adam Rymko ᠌

Disappointed with the product, not good for anything.

Do not buy! Look for normal winter tires from another manufacturer, but not R3. Everyone who sings the praises of this model - I have only one question for them: did they drive it at all or did they just watch advertising reviews on the Internet ?! Has some pros: Dignity in the form of a Nokian nameplate on the sidewall of the tire, so that others can see that rubber is not cheap. There may also be not very strong wear - enough for 3 or 4 seasons, with an average mileage of 15-20 thousand km / year. Has some cons: Used for 3 seasons. There is only one name from the Nokian brand, unless, of course, the rest of the rubber versions of this company are of normal quality. Before that, on two other machines, I used Hakapelita studded tires - they behaved as a reference, but these Velcro . Do not buy this craft from a famous brand for anything. It makes noise at a speed of just over 40 km / h, balancing this rubber makes the tire fitting masters suffer. On rolled snow, this rubber still behaves tolerably, but only a little wet snow porridge or, God forbid, wet / wet asphalt - that's it! Pitchfork! The car is like a cow on ice, the braking distance made me so surprised several times over the winter that I almost turned gray! And this despite the fact that I drive calmly, without sudden accelerations and braking in winter. And in those times, the speed was no more than 40 km / h, and provided that it slowed down before that, it did not rev up. It is better to immediately send the entire batch of Nokian Hakkapeliitta R3 for processing into rubber slippers / rugs or rubber swans from tires in a flower bed - there they belong.
