So far I haven't been able to get it to work properly with my Comcast Triple Play X1 service. The Internet speed is very variable, the Internet connection is established but often interrupted for a few seconds. I'm not sure if these issues are related to the Actiontec adapters themselves, my Comcast service, or the wiring in my house. I will update this review if and when I can find out. So far neither Actiontec nor Comcast support has been very helpful. I'm updating my rating and changing it to 5 stars after figuring out how to get this adapter and two others I bought separately working properly. Turns out the problem wasn't the Actiontec adapters, it was that the amp that Comcast installed in my front door wasn't MoCa compatible and that was the reason the Actiontec adapters failed. Comcast had no idea and couldn't help at all, but I finally figured it out through trial and error and bought a Revain MoCa compatible amp (see link for the model I bought) to replace the one Comcast installed. . Once I kept Actiontec devices working properly, and now we have the best internet coverage throughout the house since we first hooked up to Comcast service in the 1990's. We now have internet performance and speed in various parts of the house that have had Actiontec adapters installed which are exactly the same as those available on the main Comcast router. Zimmer, offers an excellent and relatively inexpensive solution to fix the weak or non-existent internet connection in different parts of the house that so many people experience. Too bad only a few know about it. The only advice for potential buyers is that you need a direct coaxial line from the house entry point, or from an amplifier located at that entry point, to the room/outlet where you plan to install the adapters. If there are splitters in between, especially non-MoCa compatible splitters, the adapters may not work properly. We highly recommend these adapters and have already convinced other family members to buy them for their home, which they have already done and are very happy too.
