Review on ๐Ÿš˜ ACDelco Professional 45G0723 Front Suspension Stabilizer Bar Bushing: Enhanced Stability for a Smooth Ride by Dylan Deng

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Highly recommended for vehicles over 100,000 miles

I don't usually pay as much attention to suspension maintenance as I do to engine maintenance. But after 150,000 miles on my 2008 Matrix I decided it was time to replace the stabilizer bar bushings and end bars (ACDelco 46G0350A). Getting to the hub mounts was the hardest part of the job. The distance between the rear bracket screws and the bottom plate is only about 1.5 inches. A set of ratchet wrenches is required for this task. These bushings fit perfectly and were nearly identical to the OEM bushings (except the original bushings were downsized slightly). ). Noticeably improved handling in corners and at cruising speed on the motorway. Road noise also decreased slightly. Very happy with the result. Last year I did front struts (KYB with baseplates and springs), front bearings (Timken) both of which have started making noise I'm left with ball joints, tie rod ends and possibly lower control arms to get the front new again. on a 24mm progression bar (about a week after changing bushings and end links) and it made an incredible difference in handling. Body roll has been virtually eliminated (I ride fast but not aggressively). I highly recommend upgrading the rear stabilizer bar (TRD). or Progress), even for a daily driver/commuter like mine. I spend a lot of time on busy freeways and winding back roads and now I feel safer with a more stable and stable car. Quality stabilizers can be found online for $150-$200. Based on my research, the stiffer rear anti-roll bar is the best handling improvement (bang for the buck) for the stock Corolla/Matrix/Vibe chassis. It definitely convinced me.
