Awesome bushings for 2005 Matrix Corolla

I installed these bushings on my 2005 Matrix using a Mevotech MK80230 stabilizer link kit. Be sure to hit the bolts clamping the bushing with WD40 or a liquid wrench the day before to make sure it's fully seated. I hit the bolts two days in a row and they came off easily. Also, use Super Lube 21030 Synthetic Grease (NLGI 2), 3 ounce tube, on all hub contact points to eliminate unwanted squeaks and noise. Also clean the screws when you put them back in place and use some thread lock to make sure

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Some little things

2003 Toyota Corolla LE

I had a run out in the driver's side front suspension and figured it was a common bushing or end link problem that seems to haunt these cars. I was able to pry the hub shell out through…

Highly recommended for vehicles over 100,000 miles

I don't usually pay as much attention to suspension maintenance as I do to engine maintenance. But after 150,000 miles on my 2008 Matrix I decided it was time to replace the stabilizer bar bushings and end bars (ACDelco 46G0350A). Getting to the hub mounts was the hardest part of the job. The distance between the rear bracket screws and the bottom plate is only about 1.5 inches. A set of ratchet wrenches is required for this task. These bushings fit perfectly and were nearly identical to the…
