Does not work as advertised on Ferrari California.

I bought this to adjust the mileage, replacement cluster for my 2014 Ferrari California. It connects via OBDII and can clear codes but NOT ADJUST KILOMETERS. Every time I've tried it just says "deny communication". I updated and the same error occurs. I also emailed XTools with the problem but they didn't reply.
