Review on Durability meets functionality: Stainless Phillips Marine Bolt Supply by Daniel Jackson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Ideal best quality (316) stainless steel kits and great price

After buying 4 different kits I only used a few screws. I have a large Hatteras and a small Boston Whaler. If a person is in a humid environment, it is best to use stainless steel equipment. If you are in salt water or near the ocean, your stainless steel should be 316. If you buy a lower quality, your fasteners may only last a few years. If you're buying hardware from ACE, Home Depot, or Lowes, you're most likely buying lower quality stainless steel. When you buy from West Marine, the equipment is usually class 316, but you really pay a high price. I can only state that I bought these sets because the quality and quantity was very good.

Pros
  • Superior rust and corrosion resistance compared to traditional stainless steel kits
Cons
  • I'll write later
