Review on 🚣 Rhino-Rack Nautic 570 Series Kayak/Canoe Carrier: Secure Transport with Tie Down Straps & Rapid Buckle Protectors by Jermaine Chowdhury

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Excellent Product

This product's stand (or carry case) is exactly what you need - well designed, well made and you trust your expensive boat. Just as importantly, the four straps that come with it are the best quality you could ask for. They're long enough, have a great locking mechanism, and won't scratch your (even) more expensive car. Although I have given this product a five star rating, there is one downside and that is the installation. You may find these tips helpful: β€’ Getting in with screws can be difficult. Save a lot of time and nerves by doing a test ride with only the screw and bottom bracket (screw in the screws first), then unscrew and install according to the instructions. β€’ Use a towel under the mounting area, otherwise you will drop the hex key. β€’ Before final attachment/tightening, slide all tote bags so they barely slide over the pole. Then tighten the outer supports (closest to you) onto each rung and position them as close to the outer end as possible. Then place the inner carry bag on the first rung according to the width of your boat. Measure the distance and repeat with the other beam. There are two things to consider: your car antenna and whether you want to leave room for a second set of poles. β€’ When installing the stands, be sure to tighten the screws evenly (on different sides) until the assembly is secure. Make sure the crossbar goes through the center of the tote bracket.
