Be sure to remove the front bumper!
First off I don't understand how anyone would install them without removing the bumper. You can barely move your fingers there to get to the middle rings, let alone a screwdriver? Luckily, using a YouTube video, the bumper was fairly easy to remove. From there I simply snapped off the hooks holding the chrome grille rings in place to replace them with black ones. Did everything in about an hour. They look great compared to the chrome ones the car came with!
