It worked as expected and was easy to use. I used to use multiple wooden skewers, which weren't that convenient to hold and pierce pork belly. Skin s. I also feel I have less risk of piercing too deeply as the design of the tool limits the depth of penetration. It has helped me get through 3 pieces of pork belly in much less time. It was a bit of a cleaning job as there was some kind of pork stuck in the holes. But I would just take my time and wash it down with my whiskey. I also pushed through the nails when cleaning to remove the excess. A brush probably wouldn't hurt either.
