Review on πŸ”§ Enhanced 315MHz MOBILETRON TPMS for Lexus & Toyota (TX-S008) - Set of 4 by Mike Davan

It took me some effort, but it was worth it!

Item arrived quickly and was fitted by local tire shop for $11 per wheel. Unfortunately, this store had an old programming tool that couldn't read the sensors or program the Prius' onboard computer to connect the sensors to the car. I bought the ATEQ QuickSet TPMS Reset Tool to manually program the computer (I wrote down the codes before installing the sensors) which worked as advertised, but the sensors themselves still didn't transmit any signals. I then went to the local Firestone store where a highly knowledgeable technician using the new snap-on programming tool woke up the sensors and reprogrammed the OBC in less than 2 minutes and I was on my way. Made for free. All is well and I saved a lot of money by not having Toyota replace the sensors at $200 a wheel. Knew saving money for me took research and effort but it was worth it in the end. Would recommend, but I'll probably go straight to a big tire shop next time to have it fitted from scratch.
