Well, I've read enough in my research to understand that most of you thought burr mills were the best. When I received the grinder I didn't understand what a burr attachment was and struggled with the odd grind before consulting the instructions and fitting it properly. When I first assembled it it didn't seem to fit and for some reason it occurred to me that it was an optional item. Anyway, if I used it correctly - I was quite satisfied. Advantages: grinds great. Adjustable settings are a plus for cold brewing/drip brewing. Looks elegant on the countertop and doesn't take up too much space. Cons: The chute that the grist comes out of is a little clogged with powder. I still haven't found a great way to clean it up, but maybe I'll find out when I go back to the instructions! The mess isn't unmanageable, just a few grinds here and there when you take the canister out of the grinder. Overall: I'm happy with it. I won't see myself buying ground coffee again - the difference in flavor is subtle but there; To be honest, the smell of freshly ground coffee is amazing. I am happy with this transition and enjoy this coffee grinder.
