This indicates that the maximum speed is 5500 rpm. So you need to put this on a large angle grinder. Also, it is a CRIPED WIRE as shown, not braided wire as shown. At least what I had was crawling wire. But I got it in an open box for $4, so I was happy anyway. 6-inch knot wire or crimp wire will easily remove paint from metal or wood (although it will gouge wood instantly). Hope that helps.
