Purchased in early Fall 2014 for my GMC Yukon. There was taped paper in the channel as other reviewers mentioned, but I used it anyway. Every time I've washed my car, I could see moisture running the length of the molding. It started falling off about 6 months ago and I just removed it yesterday. This product does not yellow at all. There were many black spots on the dashboard and on my car, almost like residual dirt and mold. I was able to remove glue and dirt/mold from my car with Goo Gone spray gel by spraying the gel onto my fingers and applying it to the glue left on the door and then using a plastic putty scraper. All glue and dirt/mould residue is gone and my paintwork is unaffected. Will buy again as other products have complaints of yellowing and the U channel is not that deep.
