UPDATE: 3 years later this thing is still going! Bought in 2018 and we still use it regularly in 2021.——————————————————————————————————— ——— —————————————————————————————————————————————— ——— —————————————————————————————————— We have been using it daily for several months, sometimes several times a day , and it never fails. I even dropped it in the toilet once and it still works! My 3 and 6 year olds respond so well to the countdown and we use it for brushing teeth, tablet or reading before bed, cleaning time, breakfast before school, recess. They call it! Visual countdown and audio alerts keep kids on track and focused on the task at hand. This changed our routine a lot, I don't have to argue with them anymore when I talk about the time because now they can track it with a timer and even insist that I set it when they brush their teeth. My husband laughed at me when I bought the $40 timer for the kids, but after seeing how effective it was, he agreed it was a good investment.
