This item is amazing. I haven't cleaned my cast iron skillet in over two years (I know I should be officially executed). That means I simply washed it with a light soap and sponge, then dried it and applied it that day. I received this product in the mail yesterday and went to town in my skillet that has been sitting for the past few days after cooking a hamburger helper in it. The noodles were dried and sticky like no other, but as soon as I used the scraper all the dirt was gone instantly, and it didn't take long. A brush with metal rings works MIRACLES. It has literally removed grease and grime from my favorite skillet for years. I watched the water turn black as I gave the thing a good scrub, and cleaning the washcloth was as simple as rinsing it off with hot water. Not to mention that the sound of metal on metal was quite pleasant. My skillet looked a lot closer than when I bought it years ago from all that was said and done. I even spent an hour seasoning it in my oven like I should have been doing all this time. Great purchase, no regrets!
