I bought a wonderful JVC touchscreen stereo and wanted to use it for phone navigation as I had no convenient place to store my phone in my car. When I tried to ground the parking brake wire it wouldn't work no matter what I did. I figured it was $3 to buy it to try it out since I spent $300 on a stereo to use my GPS WHILE driving. This little nonsense worked great. There are some stereos where you CANNOT just ground the parking brake wire. This is the perfect solution! If you can't ground the parking brake wire, do it now!
