Review on Cashel Flysheet Belly Guard by Kim Savage

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Difficult to attach

I liked the idea of the sheet but it was awkward to use. It took us two of us to put it on the first time and I'm not sure it was right. Took me 20 mins and needed instructions to put it back on after taking it off to ride. The straps also irritated my horse under the hooves and the rear straps kept slipping out of position - talk about a permanent wedge! I didn't put it back. Good idea, but not easy to handle. I would not recommend that. It's going to the dump. Very disappointed. On the other hand, it helped with bug bites, relieved my horse, and protected his abdomen while it healed. I wish they had a better way to store it. Too bad it's so difficult to use. I will probably invest in a mosquito net with abdominal protection.

Pros
  • Net
Cons
  • Ugly packaging
