It is ideal for working with any type of needle.

I love this knee pad. It matches my favorite frame and fits perfectly in my workspace. It's so easy to assemble but the extension was drilled backwards so it doesn't work which was one of the reasons I bought this style for this particular rod. Spring. Also 4 stars instead of 5 because it was late getting here so I had to change my plans for the day to wait for it. That being said, I recommend it to all stitches out there.
